Starting the week off with a cut!

Basically I have an extremely extremely busy work, the combination of work, clients spin classes, my own training for my 70.3 in September, I don’t and wont have a lot of time too cook this week, but I have meals planned out! I know exactly what I am going to make each night for dinner and for lunch I have a variety of options that is going to get me through the week!

This morning taught a 5:45 am spin class and then did some quick weights and core, then drove straight to sprouts sweaty, smelly and all. My thought is at least its really enough where its not busy! The sprouts people are starting to recognize me so I said hello to all of the people working in the produce aisle as i picked out my vegetables and fruits for the week or at least the beginning of the week 🙂 Hey I am in training I need a lot of veggies to keep me full! This girl likes to eat!
What I got! Cantaloupe (2 for $1!!), peaches, red peppers, jicama (my fav), cucumbers, corn (tis the season, great on salads) cabbage (makes great wraps!) squash, spagetthi squash, almond milk and kale. I have some stuff left from last week so I am golden. I got home and the first thing i did was cut up a good amount of the stuff. I do it right away or it wont get done!
Now off to “start” my day, after all its only 9:30 am!

What My Blog is All about

My name is Jackie Crosby, I am a young female breaking into the world of health and fitness and I want to share my journey with you all in hope to inspire people into a healthier and fitter lifestyle! I am a Personal Trainer, Endurance Triathlon Coach, Spin Class Instructor, Running Coach. I work in a gym as a Personal Trainer and Membership Representative (business side of gym), but I also maintain a steady flow of private clients outside of the gym walls. I LOVE teaching spin class, not only do I get paid to workout but I love my people who come to my classes, the music that I get to share with people and most of all my microphone 🙂

I am also a Triathlete! I aspire to take my endurance sport as far as I possibly can, but for myself and to see what level I can push my body too. I played NCAA Div 1 water polo in college and after college ended I found triathlons and marathons! I love endurance sports and training for them. While the races are amazing goals I set up for myself, training for me is where it is at. Looking at my heart rate changing, pacing myself, pushing myself, taking seconds off my times mile, interval training, swimming, running and cycling. ALL THINGS I LOVE TO DO! I get my high off of training and I can’t see my life without it!
I am also a food enthusiast! I love food and I love eating! But I love eating healthy, raw and gluten free. I found out I have celiac about a year ago and every since it has been a journey finding out as much as I can about gluten. I am in the process of going vegan, but taking it as a journey not a leap. I live a complete gluten free and dairy free lifestyle. I do eat fish and egg whites but eventually over the next year or so I want to weed those two categories out. Again I am making it a process for myself so I know I can succeed rather then going cold turkey.
What this blog is going to be about. Everything and Anything. From recipes, pictures, my life stories and journey, training session, Personal Training tips, my own journey in transforming my body to the highest level I can, performance and health wise!
My goal in life is to meet as many people as I can and either influence their lives or be influences myself! I want to take everything I can from this 1 life I have and I plan on doing so! I want feedback I want to hear what you all think!
I am excited to share this next chapter of my life with you all!
